Jay Shirodkar is an American restaurateur, investor, and owner of Yes Hospitality Group, a South Florida–based hospitality company focused on building design-forward, high-energy restaurant and nightlife concepts.

Shirodkar operates multiple venues across South Florida, including Jay’s, a modern steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale; Riviera at Hotel Maren, a coastal dining concept on Fort Lauderdale Beach; Naked Taco South Beach; and HIGHBAR, a rooftop lounge at the Dream Hotel in Miami Beach.

Shirodkar became a partner in Yes Hospitality Group in 2021 and acquired full ownership in 2024, a transition that shaped his focus on control, speed of execution, and long-term value creation across the platform.

His approach to hospitality is rooted in a background in venture capital, real estate investment, and development, where he gained experience in financial modeling, deal structuring, and asset management. That foundation continues to inform how he builds restaurants today—treating each concept not only as a brand, but as a long-term experiential asset designed for performance and scalability.

Known for a highly hands-on and systems-driven operating style, Shirodkar emphasizes financial discipline, operational structure, and team culture, while maintaining a strong focus on design, energy, and guest experience. His concepts are built to deliver both strong unit economics and memorable, high-impact environments.

His long-term vision is to build a portfolio of hospitality concepts that function as both cultural destinations and scalable assets—positioning him at the forefront of a new generation of hospitality operators who blend experience with execution.

Jay is actively involved in animal welfare and community initiatives. The Suvarna Shirodkar Foundation is currently being established to support medical and animal-related causes.
